What is VOP? | Back
VOP = Vanguard Online Parts. VOP is Vanguards' eCommerce solution for Parts Purchasing. Our goal is to supply parts customers with additional options and tools to increase convenience, efficiency and service levels.
How does it work? | Back
The VOP system is a website that is completely integrated with Vanguards' in-house inventory system. VOP customers can easily submit orders and check stock and pricing online without having to pick up the phone. When an order is submitted it immediately prints out in the appropriate parts warehouse for processing.
Who can use VOP? | Back
To use Vanguard Online Parts, customers must sign up and have a unique customer account set up in the Vanguard In-house business system. This can be an AR Charge Account or Cash on Delivery Account. The system is currently set up only for customers who already have the part number information they need. At this time there is not a catalog or parts lookup function, however this functionality is under development review.
Can I use my Credit or Debit card to pay online? | Back
Not at this time. The system is not set up for online payment. However, if you normally come into our dealerships to buy parts with credit cards, you could still place your orders online and pay when you arrive.
Can I import lists of part numbers to create orders? | Back
Yes. You can import parts lists from many file formats, including txt, xls(x), doc(x), rtf and csv. You can import lists with Part Number and Quantity, or just Part Number. Quantity will default to 1 if not supplied.
What is the Saved Order function? | Back
Saved Orders allows you to keep lists of parts that you order often, or in groups, to repeat those orders without having to re-enter them. The Saved Order becomes a 'template' for an order. Each time you use these templates to create a new order, you can edit the order before submitting by adding lines, excluding lines, changing quantities, etc. Many of our customers use this function to create weekly or monthly stock orders or orders for certain parts groups, like BRAKE PARTS Order, FILTER order, etc.
What are the requirements? | Back
A computer with an internet connection (broadband recommended) and recent browser, a unique account number set up after verification of your business, and knowledge of the part numbers you wish to check or purchase.
